Senior scientist biobased Products

I am working for almost 25 years in the field of biobased products. In the first years my focus was mainly on biodegradability and I obtained my PhD degree in 1997 on the thesis 'Structure-Biodegradability relationships of polymeric materials'. Over the years, my activities expanded to executing and managing multidisciplinary research projects in the field of biodegradable and/or biobased materials and products. Including the development of a wide range of bio-based products (such as super-absorbent polymers, self-assembling materials, agrotextiles) and research supporting standardisation (such as methods for measuring the biodegradability of packaging and for the bio-based content of products).
