Don&#8217;t get me wrong, they are all much needed and helpful, but in the beginning, I missed deadlines, got confused with schedules, and kept asking people, \u201cWhere do I find this?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"550\">Over time, I figured it out. Before I even became a student, I was already using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studielink.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Studielink<\/strong><\/a> to <strong>apply<\/strong> and confirm my enrollment. This is the national Dutch enrollment system that connects you to universities, including WUR. From applying to your programme to <strong>confirming your enrollment<\/strong> and <strong>handling administrative changes<\/strong>, everything starts here. Even before you officially become a student, you will already be interacting with Studielink, and it remains relevant whenever you need to adjust your registration details or switch programmes. Even now, it\u2019s the place I go back to when I need to check or change anything related to my registration. It\u2019s not something you use every day, but when you need it, it\u2019s absolutely essential!<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1001\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wur.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Official WUR Website<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1239\">The <strong>main<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wur.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>WUR website<\/strong> <\/a>is where I go when I need reliable, official information. It is the central hub for all <strong>official information<\/strong>. It includes updates about programmes, research, events, and university services. While you may not use it daily, it becomes important when you need verified information or want to explore opportunities beyond your courses.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1268\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wur.nl\/en\/Education-Programmes\/Current-Students\/Agenda-Calendar-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Academic Calendar<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1582\">Understanding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wur.nl\/en\/Education-Programmes\/Current-Students\/Agenda-Calendar-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>academic calendar<\/strong><\/a> changed how I planned everything. The academic calendar gives you a structured overview of the entire academic year, including teaching periods, holidays, and exam weeks. Once I knew when exam weeks and breaks were, I could manage my time much better instead of constantly reacting to deadlines.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1589\" data-end=\"1624\"><a href=\"https:\/\/aidwageningen.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AID (Annual Introduction Days)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"1919\"><a href=\"https:\/\/aidwageningen.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>AID<\/strong><\/a> is the<strong> introduction week<\/strong> for new students and one of the <em>best<\/em> ways to start your life in Wageningen. Through this platform, you can register and explore activities designed to help you <strong>meet people<\/strong>, <strong>discover the city<\/strong>, and get comfortable in your new environment. AID was one of the most memorable experiences when I started my journey here. It helped me meet new people, understand the city, and feel less overwhelmed in a completely new environment. It provides <strong>detailed information<\/strong> about courses, including content, learning outcomes, credits, and exam formats. When selecting courses or understanding what a subject really involves, this platform becomes extremely useful. It also helps you <strong>plan<\/strong> your academic path more strategically rather than choosing courses blindly. Whenever I wasn\u2019t sure what a course really involved, I checked the Study Handbook. It helped me understand what I was signing up for instead of just guessing based on the course name. It\u2019s also where I started being more intentional with my choices instead of just following what others were doing.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2331\" data-end=\"2342\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wur.osiris-student.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osiris<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2416\" data-end=\"2747\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wur.osiris-student.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Osiris<\/strong> <\/a>is the <strong>backbone<\/strong> of your academic administration. It is one of those platforms you can\u2019t ignore. This is where I <strong>register<\/strong> for courses and exams, and where I check my grades. I\u2019ll be honest\u2014it\u2019s not the easiest system to navigate at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes part of your routine! I\u2019ve learned to double-check everything here, especially exam registrations.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2754\" data-end=\"2766\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wur-studentsupport.screenstepslive.com\/m\/96179\/l\/1346385-how-can-i-plan-my-study-programme-in-the-osiris-planapp-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PlanApp<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2936\" data-end=\"3208\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wur-studentsupport.screenstepslive.com\/m\/96179\/l\/1346385-how-can-i-plan-my-study-programme-in-the-osiris-planapp-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PlanApp<\/strong><\/a> is an extension of Osiris that helps you <strong>map out your study programme<\/strong> over time. It allows you to visualise your course planning across periods and years, ensuring that you meet all requirements without last-minute stress. When I started thinking beyond just one period at a time, PlanApp became useful. It acts as the <strong>communication bridge<\/strong> between students and lecturers. Staying active on Brightspace ensures you are always aware of updates, especially when deadlines or instructions change. Lecture slides, assignments, announcements\u2014it\u2019s all here. I\u2019ve made it a habit to check it daily because missing one update can mean missing something important. Most of my academic communication with lecturers happens through this platform.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3621\" data-end=\"3635\"><a href=\"https:\/\/my.wur.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyWUR App<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3699\" data-end=\"3978\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/my.wur.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MyWUR app<\/strong><\/a> is your <strong>personalised student dashboard<\/strong> that brings together essential academic information in one place. This is what I use when I want everything quickly in one place. Whether it\u2019s checking my <strong>schedule<\/strong> between classes or looking at my <strong>results<\/strong>, it\u2019s just more convenient than opening multiple platforms. It is your go-to platform for checking where and when your classes take place. Sometimes your schedule looks fixed, and then suddenly a room changes. This platform has saved me multiple times from going to the wrong building. Especially in the first weeks, I kept it open almost all the time!<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4399\" data-end=\"4420\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ans.app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ans Digital Exam<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4486\" data-end=\"4727\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ans.app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ANS<\/strong><\/a> is the platform used for <strong>digital examinations<\/strong> at WUR. Instead of traditional paper-based exams, many courses use this system for quizzes and tests. Becoming familiar with its interface beforehand can help reduce stress during exams, as you will already know how to navigate questions and submit answers efficiently. The first time I had an exam on ANS, I was a bit nervous simply because it was digital. But once I got familiar with it, it actually made exams smoother. Now, I make sure I know how it works beforehand so I can focus only on the exam itself.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4734\" data-end=\"4745\"><a href=\"https:\/\/login.kuario.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kuario<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4816\" data-end=\"5146\">At first, I thought <a href=\"https:\/\/login.kuario.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kuario<\/strong><\/a> was just for printing, but I quickly realised it\u2019s much more than that. I use it to print documents on campus without dealing with cash, and also to pay for coffee at vending machines. Instead of emailing back and forth, I could just book a time slot directly. It made communication more efficient, especially during busy periods. Instead of long email chains, this system allows you to directly schedule meetings based on available time slots, making communication more efficient and organised.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"5469\" data-end=\"5481\"><a href=\"https:\/\/web.bringme.com\/onboarding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bringme<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5561\" data-end=\"5795\"><a href=\"https:\/\/web.bringme.com\/onboarding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bringme<\/strong><\/a> is a smart parcel and <strong>delivery system<\/strong> used in some student housing and university buildings. It allows you to receive packages securely even when you are not at home. Bringme made my life easier when it came to deliveries. I didn\u2019t have to worry about missing packages anymore because I could collect them later at my convenience at Forum! Whether I wanted to try a new class or just stay active, this is where I managed everything related to sports. It\u2019s a great way to take a break from academics. The SCB platform connects you to the university\u2019s <strong>sports facilities<\/strong> at De Bongerd. Whether you want to join fitness sessions, group classes, or sports clubs, this is where you manage bookings and memberships.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"6181\" data-end=\"6205\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wur-studentsupport.screenstepslive.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WUR Student Support<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"6298\" data-end=\"6531\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wur-studentsupport.screenstepslive.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>WUR Student Support<\/strong><\/a> is your troubleshooting guide for almost everything. From technical issues to academic processes, this platform provides step-by-step explanations and FAQs. Whenever you feel stuck or unsure about how a system works, this is often the fastest place to find clear answers. Whenever I didn\u2019t know how something worked, this was my go-to place! Instead of asking around or guessing, I could find clear instructions here. It saved me a lot of time, especially when dealing with systems like Osiris or PlanApp.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"6538\" data-end=\"6559\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wur.nl\/en\/Education-Programmes\/Student-Service-Centre\/Questions-and-Answers\/Contact-Form-SSC.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SSC Contact Form<\/a><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"6713\" data-end=\"6952\">There have been moments when I needed help that I couldn\u2019t find online. That\u2019s when I used the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wur.nl\/en\/Education-Programmes\/Student-Service-Centre\/Questions-and-Answers\/Contact-Form-SSC.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SSC contact form<\/strong><\/a>. It\u2019s the official way to reach out to the university, and it\u2019s reassuring to know there\u2019s always a support system when needed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6983\" data-end=\"7153\">Looking back, I wish I had known all of this earlier.
