Climate change has shifted from a long-term environmental issue to a complex global development challenge. To meet future food and other bio-based demands (energy, materials, chemicals) higher production levels are required, whereas at the same time greenhouse gas emissions need to be reduced. Wageningen University & Research centre aims at using a transdisciplinary approach to find tailor-made ‘Wageningen Climate Solutions’.
