I study and teach about international cooperation among states on energy, climate change and sustainable development
I am Assistant Professor with the Public Administration and Policy Group of Wageningen University, the Netherlands and Adjunct Professor in global environmental governance at Helsinki University, Finland. Sylvia’s in her research seeks to understand the key determinants of what makes global governance processes with environmental and social implications exert influence and build legitimacy where issues such as transparency, participation, accountability and equity are important. I am a member of the steering committee of the Research and Independent NGOs (RINGOs) one of the constituencies of observer organizations with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
