Consumer scientist

I am a nutritionist. In 2012 I defended my PhD thesis at the Division of Human Nutrition at Wageningen University on the topic of micronutrient recommendations for elderly people. One and a half year ago I started working at Food and Biobased Research as Consumer scientist. The focus of my research is on the effects of ageing on the perception, liking and intake of foods. In my research I frequently make use of the SenTo panel (Seniors of the Future). This panel consists of ca 800 senior consumers aged 55 to 93 years who live independently.
