Bas van Vliet conducts research into socio-technological change in the field of sanitation, water, waste energy infrastructures, and energy management, among other things, and is connected to the AMS Institute. “My impact is through education as well. I educate a lot of students who gain employment in the energy sector, in engineering offices, in government, or who start their own business. Due to their background in Wageningen, they are able to make a significant contribution to making the Netherlands more sustainable.”
