Pieter van ‘t Veer is Professor in Nutrition, Public Health and Sustainability at Wageningen University & Research. My ambition is to connect the currently distinct research domains of human nutrition, public health and food production. To this end, food and dietary patterns are viewed as the common denominator for healthy diets, public health, and a sustainable environment. Through my research projects I explore food patterns as related to nutrition, food choice and food production.
