Wageningen organizes its first Online Open Day

Are you curious what studying in Wageningen is like? Would you love to feel the atmosphere on the campus before deciding where to study? Wageningen introduces “Online Open Days”, so that students from all over the world can experience Wageningen University from their own homes.
What is an Online Open Day?
Whenever we have students visiting the campus, they are impressed by what they see. And surely even more impressed by the way they are greeted and welcomed by our students and staff. This is what makes our on campus open days so great! We wanted to make it possible for students from all over the world to get to know the real Wageningen up-close and personal without everyone having to travel to Wageningen. The Online Open Day makes this possible.
The programme
The programme of the Online Open will be announced on the website. Throughout the day you can watch our students live during their classes, practicals and group work through Periscope (#OODWU).The students coaches are available for programme specific questions on Skype and in two live talkshows you can learn everything about Wageningen University.
Live interactive talk show
At 09:30 (UTC+1) and at 16:00 (UTC+1) we air the live talk show. During this interactive show, you can ask your questions to our study advisors, students and other staff. We will discuss what it is like to study at Wageningen University, what the admission requirements are, scholarship possibilities and of course your questions!

What to you need to attend the Online Open Day?
In order to get the most out of the Online Open Day, we advise you to have a stable internet connection and a Twitter or Skype account so that you can interact with us. Don’t forget to sign up so that we can send you more detailed information as the Online Open Day is approaching!
