Online, all day, everywhere

On November 5th, we have a lot of online activities scheduled. Once you sign up for the online open day, you will receive more information on how to participate by email. You do not have to come to Wageningen to participate, you explore Wageningen University from the comfort of your own home. We offer a programme from 08:30h (UTC+1) to approximately 22:00h (UTC+1). Please use a time zone converter to check the local times.

Use your Twitter account to connect

To allow many people to interact during the live shows, we use Twitter for the questions. Use the #OODWU to share your questions about Wageningen University during the live show. If questions cannot be answered during the live show, our social media team will contact you after the show to answer your questions.
Watch our students: live through Periscope
During the day, our students will livestream their classes, group work sessions and practicals. You can watch the Periscope livestream through Twitter or by downloading the Periscope app. It is also possible to ask questions to that student during the livestream. Use #OODWU.

Chat with our student coaches

The study coaches are online all day on Skype to answer your programme related questions. They can speak from their own experience and tell you wat it is like to study a particular programme. Student coaches are students who know from their own experience how difficult it can be to choose a MSc programme. They can help you with all sort of questions like: what is the added value of a Master, what are the career possibilities, how is the study load of a programme and much more!

Live interactive talk show

At 09:30 (UTC+1) and at 16:00 (UTC+1) we air the live talk show. During this interactive show, you can ask your questions to our study advisors, students and other staff. We will discuss what it is like to study at Wageningen University, what the admission requirements are, scholarship possibilities and of course your questions!
Use #OODWU on Twitter to ask your questions live during this interactive live talk show.

      Hi Gaima,
Great to hear that you got admission already, congrats! We know it is difficult to secure funding. Have you tried looking for possibilities on http://www.grantfinder.nl already? That is the best option, as Wageningen University does not offer scholarships itself.

      Good luck,

      Best,

      Suzanne

    Good afternoon,
I would like to know how I can connect to open day for Wageningen University and how I can have an opportunity for a scholarship to support my studies at the university.

      Hi Claire,

On the website (www.wageningenuniversity.eu/masteronlineopenday), you can see all the buttons and links to the events during the Online Open Day. We will discuss scholarship possibilities during the live interactive talk show (09:30h and 16:00h, UTC+1) and you can ask your questions on funding in a Skype chat session (see the Skype schedule on the website for more details).

      Best,

      Suzanne

Hello suzanne, am a top athlete in my country; so my question is “will I be permitted to train professionally and study”? I want to study epidemiology and public health.
